Jharkhand B.Ed. entrance exam is being conducted by JCECEB from 2019 onward for admission into both private and Government B.Ed/ Teacher Training college. There are around 15000 B.Ed. seats in Jharkhand out of which only around 10% seats are in government B.Ed colleges and rest are with private B. Ed colleges that accounts almost 13000 seats.So anyone whose rank is below 2000 is expected to have a good chance of getting government B.Ed college. However this may vary from university to university as students will be least interested to move out of their home university. Moreover the number of applicants in each university will also be a deciding factor.

It is expected that out of expected 18000 alloted rank, Ranchi university will have the highest applicants considering the convenience of entrance exam being conducted at Ranchi. So fight for government B.Ed. college in Ranchi university is expected to be tougher.
There are few government B.Ed. colleges which are reserved for women applicants and for those your Female rank will matter. Condering Dhanbad we have SSLNT (women reserved) , which has 100 seats. So anyone having less than 500 Female CML rank has chance of getting their seat in this college. So almost 90% of the applicants have to settle down for private colleges. So it’s important for those getting rank beyond 1500 to search for the best suitable private colleges
