The Student Grievance Redressal Committee of  Shamshul Haque Memorial Teacher Training College (hereinafter referred to as “SGRC”) aims to resolve the grievance of the students with highest standards of integrity, fairness and confidentiality.

The SGRC shall consist of:

1. Dr. Puja Singh, Principal                      – Chairperson
2. Dr. Amita Singh                                      – member
3. Mrs. Shahla Parween                             – Member
4. Dr. Bikram Das                                       – Member Secretary

Objectives

The objectives of SGRC are:

1. To provide an opportunity for the students to freely express their grievance, with utmost anonymity.
2. To set up a mechanism for speedy and expeditious resolution of the grievance.
3. To provide an appropriate counseling to the students in the process of resolving the grievance.
4. To promote cordial relationship amongst the students.

Functions

1. To review the complaints received by the SGRC.
2. To follow the principles of natural justice in considering the grievances.
3. To report with recommendations, if any, to the Vice Chancellor of affiliating university.
4. To conduct the surveys to identify the problems of students and provide suitable solutions.

Student Member

Representative from among students of the college is  nominated by the Principal.

Mode of submitting the Grievance

An aggrieved student can submit the application seeking redressal of grievance to the Committee
